Mr. Preston will be joining the CMHS team as Principal. He comes to the district with years of leadership and instructional experience. He received a BS from the University of Maine at Orono in Civil Engineering, a GIS Certificate from University of Maine at Machias, and a Masters degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Preston has served as an instructor and instructional supervisor for the US Army for 20 years, a well-known and respected leader within Army National Guard, and a successful youth mentor and coach within Washington County for over 20 years.

Mr. Collins will return to CMHS this year as the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal. He received a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition from Penn State, Associates degree from Washington County Community College in Recreation and Tourism, and was awarded a Bachelors degree in General Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
Mr. Collins joined the CMHS special education department in 2022 where he demonstrated success in building positive relationships with our students, staff, and faculty. He brings a tremendous amount of sports knowledge and enthusiasm to the position.
