The CES school nurse provides many different health services throughout the school. The nurse is not always available so if a student is feeling sick, they should just stay home from school. The front office should be notified if a student is not coming to school due to illness. The school nurse cannot permit a child to take medications in school unless she has a signed and dated note from the child’s parent.
