CHS Hosts Annual Post Secondary Fair

On March 14th CHS hosted the annual post secondary fair in the school gym. Colleges, businesses, and military reps visited and students had the opportunity to speak with them and learn about their programs. Students from Woodland and Calais Alternative School also attended the fair. The post secondary fair is a great way for students to learn about possibilities for after high school.

CHS Junior & Star Athlete Recognized by Senator Moore

On March 14th CHS junior and star basketball player Lauren Cook was invited to the State House to be recognized for her milestone of scoring 1000 points in three years of high school basketball. This accomplishment of scoring 1000 points as a junior has led to her being selected on the all tournament team, DAC Allstar, PVC first team all star and PVC player of the year. Congratulations to Lauren on her accomplishments.

CHS Academic Decathlon Team Competes, Brings In Several Medals

On the weekend of March 2nd, the CHS Academic Decathlon team competed in the state competition at Scarborough High School. The Blue Devils ended up taking home seven medals. Haley Way got a bronze in interview, Terry Montemaggi got a gold in interview and silver in music, and Hannah Gadway got silver medals in art, interview, and speech and a gold in literature. Congratulations to all the Blue Devil competitors.
