On Sunday night CHS junior Lauren Cook was announced as the Eastern Maine Sports girls basketball player of the year. Lauren is an extremely talented player who, as a junior, has already scored 1000+ points and has received many other awards. Congratulations to Lauren on this extremely high honor.
On March 14th CHS hosted the annual post secondary fair in the school gym. Colleges, businesses, and military reps visited and students had the opportunity to speak with them and learn about their programs. Students from Woodland and Calais Alternative School also attended the fair. The post secondary fair is a great way for students to learn about possibilities for after high school.
