CHS senior Caden Williams has recently been accepted to the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Caden has been a major contributor to the CHS student body, wrestling and playing baseball, and serving on student council during his time at school. Caden will be greatly missed at CHS when he leaves for college and we wish him the best in his future.
CES students rose bright and early this morning and embarked on a bus ride to the University of Maine at Orono for the annual MLTI Technology Conference. This is an event where schools that participate in MLTI send students to the university to do various technology workshops and interactive activities. It was a great experience enjoyed by all the students and chaperones.
The Spring Celebration at CES will take place on Thursday May 31st from 5-6:30PM at the school. All students and their parents are invited. Parents will be able to see their child’s classroom and take a look at some of the things they have been working on throughout the school year. The 3rd grade recorders will be performing for entertainment.

A reminder that the CHS drama club will be performing “The Internet is a Distract-Oh Look A Kitten!” on Friday May 25th at 6:30PM. The performance will take place in the CHS cafetorium and admission and baked goods are by donation.
On Tuesday May 22nd, the honors assembly for the CHS seniors was held. This assembly honors the top 7 students in the senior class. Each student had a specific teacher/faculty member to speak on their behalf. (Pictured above are the seniors with the faculty members who spoke for them. On Friday May 18th, the CHS senior class went on their annual class trip. They went to Six Flags and spent 12 hours at the theme park before coming home. The class trip is a pinnacle event for the senior class and it was enjoyed by all.
