Eighth Grade Celebration of Growth will be held on Monday, June 15th in a drive through format.
Ceremony details:
Calais School Department administration, teachers, and staff are excited to Celebrate the Growth of our 8th Grade students.
CMHS will host 8 students in half-hour scheduled slots. At the end of the scheduled half hour, students and family members/friends will depart, and 8 new students and family members/friends will move to CMHS. Each student will be able to have up to 2 vehicles at CMHS. Only 4 family members and/or friends per student will be allowed outside of vehicles at any one time. By following these recommended guidelines, we will remain a gathering of <50 people. We do encourage people outside of vehicle to wear face masks. During their scheduled time, students will be presented with the Certificate of Growth and have time for photos on the front lawn of CMHS.
Parking and preparation:
During your scheduled time, parking will be in front of CMHS. Up to half an hour prior to your scheduled time, vehicles will gather in the back parking lot of WCCC. Once the students and family members/friends from the previous group have departed, the next group of students will be directed to CMHS by the attendant in the parking lot at WCCC. Signs will direct you to the WCCC parking lot.
