Calais Middle/High School is a public middle/high school located in Calais, Washington County, Maine. CMHS provides a first class education to grades 7 to 12. The mission of CMHS is to provide a positive learning environment where a student develops the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to become a responsible and productive citizen. To graduate from CMHS, a student must earn a total of 24 credits in a variety of subjects such as mathematics, history, science, English, physical education, health, computer, and fine arts. In addition to academics, students will have the oppritunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as band/chorus, student council, National Honor Society, and drama; as well as sports such as soccer, golf, basketball, and baseball. CMHS has a professional staff that works diligently to provide the most challenging and rewarding learning environment to students.
